API + Woodburn Call

Explanation: WoodBurn Call is a program with Green, Yellow, and Red color advisories for the Wasatch Front Area to control wood smoke emission between Nov. 1 and March 1 each year in Utah. We are in the WoodBurn season right now. Check Today's WoodBurn Call. (Department of Environmental Quality)

GREEN

People may use wood and coal burning stoves and fireplaces, but please use them in a proper
manner to reduce their smoke emissions.

YELLOW

We suggest voluntarily not use wood and coal stoves or fireplaces, vehicle use should be reduced by consolidating trips and industry should minimize air pollution emissions.

RED

Wood and coal stoves or fireplaces must not be used unless they produce absolutely no smoke. Vehicle use should be reduced by consolidating
trips and industry should minimize air pollution emissions.

Ozone No-Drive Call

Explanation: The Ozone No Drive Day (Spare the Air) is an advisory program for people in S.L/Davis Counties to reduce ozone exposure between June 1 and October 1 each year. Right now it is not the Ozone season. Box Elder County is not effected by this.
